The firing of AU’s board chair last week seems to be a victory for the Keep Athabasca in AU advocacy group, but not one to gloat over. While the provincial government is onside and AU claims to be concerned about the region, the AU President’s defiant comments indicate no willingness to work with regional stakeholders.
